When is Weston Independent Market Open?​
We are open on Wednesday 10:00am - 4:00pm every week starting end of March until October, weather permitting. We are also open on the last Sunday of the month from 10:00am - 3:00pm. Extra markets are on sometimes to accompany events such at the Christmas Lights Switch on, Summer Pop Ups. Please follow our social media for the latest details.

does the Market have public toilets?​
The Sovereign Centre next to the market has customer toilets that are open to the public from 9am until 4.30 pm. Click here for details.

CAN I PARK AT Weston Independent Market?​

Yes, bicycle racks are installed in the south-east corner of the gardens, opposite the NatWest Bank.
Can i smoke at the market?​
No, you cannot smoke at the Italian Gardens in Weston-super-Mare because it is a public, outdoor space, and the local council made parts of Weston beach and all council-owned play areas smoke-free in 2012.
are dogs allowed at the Market?​
Yes, Weston Independent Market is dog friendly. Please ensure dogs are kept on a lead, avoid very busy times and never leave the dogs unattended. Some restaurants, bars and stores near the market may not allow pets inside, so please check beforehand. Weston Independent Market is an outdoor event, and as such, it is subject to weather conditions. While every effort is made to proceed as planned, severe weather may occasionally require the market to be cancelled for the safety and comfort of traders and visitors.
At present, there is no viable indoor alternative due to budget constraints. In the event of a cancellation, traders are not issued refunds, but will be offered the opportunity to transfer their booking to another available market date.
