Getting to the Weston Independent Market

By Train:
Weston-super-Mare Train Station (BS23 1XY) is just a 13-minute walk to the market at Town Square and the Italian Gardens.

By Bus:
The Weston-super-Mare Bus Hub, located on Alexandra Parade (BS23 1QX), is only a 6-minute walk from the market.

By Bike:
Cycling in? Brilliant! Weston boasts a variety of scenic cycle routes, offering a refreshing way to enjoy the Somerset countryside on your way to the market.

Parking in Weston-super-Mare is available Monday to Saturday, from 8am to 6pm, including public and bank holidays. Current parking charges can be found on the North Somerset Council website. You can pay using the MiPermit app or at on-street ticket machines.

Is there disabled parking and how many spaces are available?

Yes, there are 3 spaces in Grove Road, Weston-super-Mare BS23 2AA. This is the second closest car park (3 minute walk) but there are others in Taunton with spaces also. 

Is there wheelchair access?

The market is one Level throughout with all areas accessible to disabled visitors with ramp/level access.

Are there disabled toilets?

All the seafront toilets offer baby changing facilities and the majority are suitable for disabled users.
Public toilet opening times are from 9am-5pm. Council toilets are free to use, some private facilities have a small charge.

Is there a map of the market?

No sorry, due to the layout shifting slightly depending on the nature of what is exhibited this can change, but rest assured the stalls are all spaced to allow free movement and full accessibility.

Is there a quiet place where you can rest during the market?

There is not a designated quiet space, but you can exit to the edges of the paved area away from live entertainment for a quiet break.
